Veronica Montano was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She was signed by a small local agency at the age of 15. Shortly thereafter, she moved to New York City where she won Top Model Latina 2014. The win granted her a modeling contract with Majo Model Management in NYC. By the time Veronica was 17, she was picked up by brands such as Nicole Miller, Laquan Smith, Angela Simmons, Angel Sanchez, Nicolas Felizola, Laura Smalls, CuteCircuit, and MT Costello. She also appeared in Beyoncé’s music video “Pretty Hurts” and Big Bang “Bad Boy.”
Now known as an established model in the fashion industry in New York City, her cutting edge style and skills as a professional acrobatic gymnast and dancer keeps her ahead of the game and has appeared in editorials for the New York Post, NY Daily News, Cosmopolitan, Nylon, Teen Vogue, Vogue, and Style Watch. She has done commercials for Garnier, BOD man, Target, and Ulta Beauty. Also a regular on booking campaigns such as Macadamia Professional, Arrojo NYC, bareMinerals, Glamsquad, Converse, and Marianne Stores. On top of all of this, she finds time to study nutrition and food science at Hunter College.
She is currently training at Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and next in Veronica’s sights are film roles, theater and documentary films. She is patiently waiting for the right role and opportunity for this new challenge in her career.
