Germania Martinez

2017/18

Germania Martinez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. A girl from the town Azúa, who dreamed of fulfilling her dreams of being a model. She moved to the United States at the age of 11, in hopes of better opportunities. She started her modeling career at the age of 17 but unfortunately, her life took an unexpected turn. Her modeling career stood behind as adulthood responsibilities became a priority. At the age of 21 she decided to give her dreams another shot, she signed up for the Miss Dominican Republic US pageant. Nervous and with little experience, she launched herself in pageantry hoping to expand her platform for her upcoming dream career. Although she didn’t get the crown, she placed the first runner up. The opportunity to be Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2014 allowed her to go to Thailand and participate in an international competition.

She continued her modeling career doing NY Bridal Expo and some commercial work.  She is looking forward to being able to get very involved in the media and entertainment industry. Martinez also has plans in for an acting career in the future.
